I don't even know where to begin. I didn't even want to meet with them but my mother thought it would be best but it wasn't. I already told her I want to have a buffet style reception but she just kept pushing the idea of seeing some caters.
Anyways we go over the weekend met with 3 and all 3 times was a horrible experience. I didn't like the food at all and they was very pricey. Why pay 40 dollars per person to eat I mean really do you know how much that will be. I don't think so that was the first cater. The 2nd one said we would have to have our own servers for a set price of 800 dollars thats including alcohol too. Now the 3rd one food was flat out nasty. It tasted like they was cooking with tar lol. I will not have my guest getting sick. I have stuck with my decision to have a buffet style wedding where everyone can pick and choose what they want. I hate pickey eaters so at least they will have a huge selection to choose from.
Having a cater might be good for some people but not me. I love the food I eat and I will not try anything that is nasty or that's gonna be way out my budget. My mother has set up at least 2 more appointments to meet with caters but hey she can go all by herself because I am done with them. I appluade her effort but I am not hiring one. I hope she will get it when I don't show to the next appointment.
My budget for the food is 1,000 dollars that's including the drinks because we gots to have the alcoholic beverages as what my Fiance says. I will not pay more. I might even pay that much for my buffet style reception who knows I am just gonna follow my gut.
